LA NICHE is a private group, so before joining us, you’ll need to obtain a Yahoo! ID and password. Before doing obtaining them, first, please be sure to read this page thoroughly…

If you already have a Yahoo! ID and password, or if you’ve just obtained them, you’ll be ready to JOIN our group after reading the email address and delivery information below:
Here’s the ‘How-To’ of joining and a couple IMPORTANT things to keep in mind as you proceed…
Yahoo! automatically issues you a default email address (YourID@yahoo.com) and will send all your LA NICHE email there (online at Yahoo! Mail) UNLESS you SET your membership to specify that email should be sent to your regular home email address.
- If Yahoo! IS your preferred email server, use your established Yahoo! email address or the one you will be issued when obtaining your password and ID.
- If Yahoo! is NOT your preferred email server, please be sure to designate your preferred email address. You will need to add your preferred email address to your Yahoo! account and verify it BEFORE joining LA NICHE. Yahoo! will send you a verification email with a verification link that you will need to click to confirm your request. AFTER that has been completed, both your preferred email address and your Yahoo! Mail email address will appear on your account. THEN, when you join LA NICHE, you can designate which email address you’d like to use with your LA NICHE membership… otherwise, only the default Yahoo! email address will be available for your membership with LA NICHE.

- ‘Daily Digest’ is suggested for email delivery frequency.
- Membership is usually approved within one day.
Once membership is approved, you should receive several automatically generated emails about our group.
If you DO NOT receive these emails at your regular home email address, your membership is set to the default email address mentioned above. You may change your email address setting through Edit Membership. You will be asked for your Yahoo! ID and password. Don’t forget to click ‘Save’ after making corrections to your membership page.
If the ‘new membership’ emails generated when your membership was approved went to your Yahoo! email address, you will need to visit your inbox at Yahoo! Mail. Use your same password and ID to access Mail.
Again, please be sure to use your regular home email address and NOT the default address the Yahoo! system gives you (unless you normally use Yahoo! as your regular email server). If you use the Yahoo! address, your LA NICHE email will be sent to Yahoo! Mail online rather than to your home email address.
